Before moving to Florida, Pastor McElwain taught and served as principal at Kirksville (Missouri) Bible School. He has served as a pastor and teacher in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. For thirty years, he taught music and Bible at Hobe Sound Bible College. He currently teaches overseas pastors for Shepherds Global Classroom, serves as Teaching Pastor at Palm Beach Chinese Christian Chapel, and Discipleship/Teaching pastor at Hobe Sound Bible Church. Randall joined the church staff in 2018.

Jonathan Stratton joined the pastoral staff in June, 2021. He and his wife Joana are passionate about discipleship and children’s ministry. They previously served as children’s ministry directors at Hobe Sound Bible Church. He is a literature professor at Hobe Sound Bible College and also serves as the Discipleship Director there. Jonathan has BA degrees in Intercultural Studies and TESOL Education from Hobe Sound Bible College and a Masters degree in Christian and Classical Studies from Knox Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading, travel, music, and cooking. 

Joel and his wife, Kendra, began serving in the youth pastor role at Hobe Sound Bible Church in 2020. Joel moved to Hobe Sound in 1996 and grew up going to Hobe Sound Bible Church. After graduating from college in 2017, he began teaching at Hobe Sound Christian Academy. He served as Jr. High Administrator and a teacher for several years. He enjoys spending time with young people and has a passion to see them follow Christ. 

George and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of two children. He holds a BA in English and BRE degree and has served in various capacities of full-time ministry for nearly 50 years. He was director of Touching Lives for Christ, the church’s short-term missions program from 1990 to 2001. He joined the pastoral staff in 2007.
